Abstract. The article discusses various ways of overcoming the pessimistic scenario of increasing internal migration of the regional scientific elite. The authors describe the experience of implementing the concept of scientific and practical training while working with gifted children in the experimental schools (Moscow) and the summer camp (Irkutsk).

The stages of mastering the humanitarian strategy of managing the school educational system by school managers

Abstract. The article describes the stages of mastering the content of humanitarian strategy of managing the school educational system by school managers. The author identified three stages: reflective, theoretical, and projective. Each stage contains a goal, content and anticipated result of interaction among teachers/tutors and the heads of educational organizations. It is concluded that these stages allow implementing the conceptual model of training school managers for using the humanitarian management strategies in postgraduate education.

Abstract. The article deals with the prose of Tsydyp Tsyrendorzhiev from the point of view of the local literary history. The prevailing motive of clan fate (karma) stands out through the writers works. The fate of both the individual and the whole family, according to the writer, is formed by karma as the spiritual energy and responsibility for spoken words and committed actions. This problem is closely connected with preserving moral values, which is especially important for the young generation upbringing, including pupils and students, in the era of the material principles in the society of mass consumption.

Semantic approach to studying predicates in the school course of the russian language

Abstract. The article is devoted to the semantics of a predicate and the priority of the semantic approach to studying predicates at school. Particular attention is paid to the categorical and particular (speech) meaning of the predicate, which appears differently in the types of a predicate: undivided – in a simple verbal predicate, and divided – in a compound verbal and compound nominal predicate. The presented analysis of the predicates displays the participation of the predicate components in expression of the semantics of the predicate and the whole sentence.

Abstract. The article clarifies the definition of the concept of “spiritual and moral education” in terms of the current socio-cultural situation. The meaning-forming component of spiritual and moral education is found out. The authors substantiate the focus on a holistic systemic vision of the surrounding world as a significant factor in spiritual and moral education. The principles of spiritual and moral education are presented. On the example of Irkutsk Sunday School some features of the program implementation are shown on the basis of these principles.

Civiс and Patriotic Education a Case Study of the Great Patriotic War: the Evacuation Hospital № 1476

Abstract. In any educational institution of Russia, the students are traditionally involved in various forms of study and celebration of the Victory Day and memorable events of the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945. The variety of forms of such work is unlimited. The article gives an example of using the war historical material in civic and patriotic education. The author shows the possibilities of involving students in studying the historical material, volunteer activity, and explains how to create a historical exposition, using the experience of Baikal State University, where the evacuation hospital No. 1476 was located. The unique experience of reconstructing the atmosphere of the evacuation hospital and its interactive use for civic and patriotic education of youth and promoting the donor movement are considered.

Abstract. The article shows the urgency of identifying readiness of teachers in general education organisations in Irkutsk Region for implementing Federal state educational standards (FSES) in primary school for pupils with health limitations and FSES for students with mental retardation. The author offers the series of indicators for identifying the teachers’ readiness for implementing the standards above, and some diagnostic materials for the sampling sociological survey.

Harmonization of the child and parents relations in the structure of schools’ social and cultural activity

Abstract. The successful socialization of a child is due to the peculiarities of parent and child relationships as one of the most important institutions of socialization. A family is a multi-aged social group where a child learns to perceive different values, the criteria for assessing life events, ideals, points of view, beliefs. A family has psychological mechanisms of socialization that provide the content and nature of a significant family influence on a child. Depending on the nature of upbringing (the style of upbringing, the type of child and parents relations), the relationship between parents and a child is formed. This influences the level of socialization: the success of this process or its failure. The problem can be solved through the harmonization of the child and parents relations in the structure of the school’s socio-cultural activity.

Criteria and indicators of the level of formation of the general competencies of a middle-level specialist

Abstract. The article is devoted to defining the general competencies of a middle-level specialist, criteria and indicators of their level of formation at college. The prerequisites for the introduction new general competencies while training college graduates are discussed in the article. Having analyzed the scientific literature, three basic criteria of general competencies were defined: motivational, cognitive and behavioral. The blocks of criteria and indicators of general competencies were systematized , it allowed to characterize the levels of general competences for college students.

Abstract. The problem of psychological stress of teachers is of scientific and practical importance due to the changes taking place in the process of reformation of educational system in Russia. Therefore, it is necessary to study the stress resistance of teachers. The article discusses the criteria and indicators to measure stress resistance of a teacher in terms of the activity approach. Analysis and systematization of the stress components proposed in the paper can significantly increase the effectiveness of efforts to improve stress resistance.

The motives for choosing nursing as a profession

Abstract. Results of the theoretical and empirical research of motives for choosing nursing as a profession by the medical college students are described. The analysis of the main theoretical approaches towards the motivation for choosing profession is done. Inner socially valuable motivation including high responsibility, possibility of being helpful, possibility for professional growth is found to be the leading motive for choosing nursing profession.

The determinants of emotional deprivation of preschool children with cognitive and speech disorders and psychological and pedagogical recommendations for its correction

Abstract. The article is devoted to the emotional problems of preschool children with minimal speech and cognitive disorders. It was established that the unbalanced level system of emotional regulation became the main endogenous factor provoking the manifestation of emotional and behavioral deprivation. And the main exogenous factor was the inconsistent parents’ attitude which provoked the deterioration of the pedagogical relation and decrease of sociometric status of a child. The author defined the potentially effective directions of psycho-corrective work with children and their parents.
