Abstract. The article presents empirical studies of the psychological features of the participants in the KVN teams with different playing experiences. Differences in characterological properties, dominating motivation, level of development of creativity of respondents are revealed. It is shown that the more experienced participants of KVN (experience of more than 3 years) are characterized by greater creativity, ability to teamwork, and ability to deeper understanding the social problems and realizing the «boundaries» of their behavior in comparison with beginners who have 1-2 years of playing experience. The new players often overestimate themselves and their abilities, they are more ambitious or arrogant, they cannot always control their emotions and behavior and are prone to impulsive decision making.
