Abstract. The paper is devoted to issue of the teachers’ professional attitude to inclusive education. The author analyzes theoretical bases of the teachers’ professional and personal positions as an expression of pedagogical consciousness, provides the description of a professional position of the inclusive school teacher, describing it as subjective and reflexive one, and reflects on the reasons for the teachers’ resistance to inclusion as innovation. The main issue of the article is the features of teachers’ professional and personal positions which should be taken into consideration when organizing the inclusive education at modern school as well as at the designing the scientific and methodical environment of teachers’ professional development and psychological support. During the empirical research the indicators of self-assessments of professional positions of teachers of inclusive education are defined.
