Abstract. The paper deals with topical issues of developing the monitoring of personal results of education of schoolchildren with mental retardation in connection with implementing the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education for Students with Disabilities. The authors gave a substantive assessment of the possibilities of using traditional psychological diagnostics for accompanying younger schoolchildren with mental retardation; underlined the role of a psychologist in working out and implementing the monitoring of personal educational results. In the article an approximate algorithm of interaction between a psychologist and a teacher while the integrated assessment of the studied indicators is proposed.
