Abstract. The article describes the technique of preparing the language and literature teacher’s public speech by analyzing the journalistic text written by Inna Kabysh, the poet and teacher of Literature. She devoted her essay “Always live in your students”to the Teacher's Day. The pedagogical analysis of the humanistic values of the essay provides the meaningful feedback of teachers and students; becomes the transdisciplinary educational outcome of the educational meeting throughout the school years and the “noise of time”. The text of the essay has an inspiring and creative potential, which can help the teacher to demonstrate his public speaking skills and his pedagogical image. The article reveals the stages of immersion into the text and understanding the author's pedagogical idea. The main thing in the methodological plan is that, by analogy with this speech, any teacher can prepare his own speech for the Teacher's Day, the Day of Knowledge or for the school-leaving party. The teacher appears before the readers and listeners as an educator, citizen and patriot, who understands his responsibility for the future, for the each of his graduates’ fate. The teacher’s speech reveals the connection of generations, the meaning of teaching gratitude and respect to any person of any age in the context of time.
