Abstract. The article is devoted to the problems of studying the subordinate parts of a sentence at school. In the paper concerns the multidimensionality of the sentence parts and related to that inconsistency in the interpretation of the subordinate parts of the sentence in the school course of syntax. The special attention is paid to the cases of syncretism of the subordinate parts of a sentence, its cause, and the difficulties of the sentence analysis connected to it.
