Training Ground as Effective Educational Environment when Teaching Primary Students a Non-native Language

Abstract. In the article the experience of teaching primary students the Buryat language in the mode of mixed age open groups when attending the Training Ground, a form of children’s extracurricular activities, created on the basis of Buryat Republican Teacher Training College is presented. The educational environment of the Training Ground includes the following elements: the process of education and up-bringing, teaching methods and forms, psychological background and preparation for lessons, students’ physical activity, their nutrition and daily wellness activities.  Taking into consideration all above, the Training Ground provides the effective educational environment. The Training Ground is that reality which is created purposefully to achieve the definite educational goals, including teaching non-native language, and meets the requirements of the educational environment. The effectiveness of the educational environment is very important for teaching non-native language because children should get into the environment which is favorable for their physical, mental, and emotional state. Such environment will provide the students interest in learning non-native language.
