Abstract. The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the opportunities of using the technology of teaching the Russian language with the help of the construction of the derivatives’ word-building patterns for the Russian language and Literature teachers’ professional development. The process of teachers’ professional development is much due to the need to master the effective teaching methods and technologies. At the same time, one can observe the general pedagogical technologies’ predominant position while teaching; the methods and technologies for teaching different school subjects, in the author’s opinion, goes through crisis. The technology, offered in the paper, is linguistic, and it allows mastering different language levels. Using this technology is able to help teachers to provide learning the Russian language as a whole. Keywords: teaching technology, word-building pattern, teachers’ professional development.
