Abstract. The paper presents theoretical and methodological materials for the effective organization of the school counselor’s reflexive work to prevent the students’ social deviations. The results of implementing the reflexive approach are described on the case study of school counselors in Irkutsk region. The author’s research findings prove the pedagogical expediency, necessity and possibility of the reflexive approach implementation. As a result of psychological and pedagogical research, the positive effects of the school counselor and parents’ reflexive interaction in the educational process of general educational institution were recorded. The article is of the practical value for school counselors, as well as related specialists: teachers, psychologists, educators, tutors.
