Abstract. The paper deals with the main provisions of the comprehensive rating assessment implemented in Siberian Fire and Rescue Academy of the Ministry of Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters. The authors analyze the research activities’ indicators used in this system and their values achieved by the cadets in the 3d and 4th courses of study.
