Abstract. Introduction. The paper substantiates the need of using health-saving technologies in sociocultural work with elderly people. Purpose, subject and scientific novelty of research. The purpose of the research is justification of implementing the health saving technologies for work with elderly people, and the description of organizing Baikal summer school “Silver Age”. The possibilities of using health saving technologies while working with elderly people became a subject of studying. The novelty of the research lies in justification of using the health saving technologies at summer school “Silver Age”. The materials and methods. The authors describe their experience in organizing Baikal Summer School “Silver Age” in 2017 and 2018. The results of research. The integrative nature of the summer school is due to the interrelation of creative, communicative and health-saving technologies aimed at improving the life quality and the health of elderly people, and the possibility to fulfill the sociocultural functions within this form. During the summer school, recreational practices, psychological training, applied arts and crafts were implemented. The discussion and conclusions. The involvement of school participants in the variety of cultural and recreational activities contributed to providing the atmosphere of creative communication and setting up the conditions for self-actualization. All the sociocultural technologies were aimed at improving the physical and mental health of the summer school participants.
