Abstract.
Introduction. This paper describes the problem of improving the efficiency of professional activity of psychologists through the formation of professional competencies during their studies at University. Consideration is given to the features of the structure of socio-psychological competence and individual style of self-regulation of psychology students of different education levels.
Materials and methods. The presented problem is revealed by studying the “homogeneity- heterogeneity” of the structures and assessing the degree of organization of the correlation pleiades and the nature of their configuration.
The results of the research. The revealed differences are quantitative (not qualitative) changes in the holistic structure of socio-psychological competence and individual style of self-regulation of psychology students of different education levels, which occur during their study at University.
Conclusion. The research has revealed that the structure of socio-psychological competence and individual style of self-regulation in the psychology specialist-degree students are characterized by higher degree of organization, integration, synthesis and cohesion of qualities included in it.
