Abstract.
The paper considers the problem of correcting the low status of psychological intimacy in adolescence by the method of complex fairy tales.
Materials and methods. The results of diagnosis and correction of the status of psychological intimacy in adolescence are presented (N=128). The methods applied in the study include the method of determining the status of psychological intimacy (V. P. Arestova, B. A. Mokhov), the questionnaire for diagnosing the empathic ability (V. V. Boiko); methods of mathematical-statistical processing and interpretation of data (φ- criterion of Fisher angular transformation).
Results of study. The analysis of the results of the preliminary experiment has shown that the stereotypical status of psychological intimacy in adolescence predominates, which is indicative of superficial relationships. Consequently, it is necessary to develop the depth of the relationships. The predominant level of empathic abilities is low, therefore, the empathy should be developed to deepen the relationships. In this paper, we propose a correction program, which is based on the method of the complex fairy tale therapy and takes into account the socio psychological characteristics of adolescence.
Discussion and conclusions. The experiments have shown the adequacy of the developed program and its practical applicability to the problem. The prospects for further research into the problem are associated with a deeper study of the psychological and pedagogical correction of the low status of psychological intimacy in the students of “risk group” by the method of complex fairy tales.
