Abstract
Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of searching for new ways of studying poetry and motivational resources of analysis and interpretation of lyric poems in literature lessons, which is relevant for modern school teaching. The article discusses the importance of studying poetic texts at school, identifies the challenges that teenagers face when perceiving poems, and suggests ways to overcome them. The authors studied the interest of modern schoolchildren in poetry and developed technological tools that help the teenage reader enter the artistic world of poetry.
Materials and Methods. Methodologists identify various reasons for the ambiguous perception of poetry by teenage readers, such as the lack of emotional experience, insufficient metaphorical thinking, and poverty of associations. The authors of the article also draw attention to changes in the interests of modern teenagers associated with the active influence of the digital environment, which affects their perception of poetic text. For successful and effective teaching of lyric poems, a modern teacher must have a good understanding of the nature of the poetic word, have a high philological culture, possess the necessary technological tools, and be attentive to the choice of poetic texts for study in the lesson, which can captivate the teenager.
Results. Possible ways, methods and techniques of analysis and interpretation of lyric poems are shown using the example of the works of M.I. Tsvetaeva, one of the most difficult poets of the Silver Age for schoolchildren to perceive. A system of work is proposed that helps students enter the artistic world of the poet through their personal and reflexive experience. The tools used are based on traditional techniques for developing imagination, reflexive techniques, hermeneutic techniques and techniques of emotional intelligence development technology, such as visualization of key images, etymological analysis of the word, creation of an associative chain based on the associative-semantic development of the image, visualization of feelings and emotions using an illustrative series, creation of a text based on figurative reflection, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the analyzed work, generates students’ interest in poetry and helps them realize its importance for the development of their inner world.
Conclusion. The authors conclude that it is necessary to search for innovative approaches of studying poetry and such tools for analyzing poetic texts that could not only engage the young reader, but also contribute to the development of their thoughts and feelings, self-knowledge, and the discovery of new horizons in the literary world.
