Teaching Russian Language to Bilingual Children in Schools of the Tomsk Region: Monitoring Results

Abstract. Introduction. The paper presents analytical monitoring data on teaching non-native Russian language-speaking students. The monitoring aimed to effectively implement the project on the adaptation of bilingual children and their parents and to create a common ethnic-educational environment in the Tomsk region.

Research methods. The research employed the data processing methods (generalization, systematization of the obtained material) and empirical methods (questionnaire and statistical processing of research results).

The practical significance of the monitoring results is the development of recommendations for the adjustment of educational programs to factor in the training of non-native Russian language-speaking students, in particular, in a multi-level multicultural team; the development of methodological recommendations for the adaptation of bilingual children and their parents in the educational environment of the school and region as a whole.
