Abstract. The paper deals with the problem of the assessment of the senior students’ level on Physical Education. The important factors for choosing assessment system are its comprehensiveness and validity. From the variety of the approaches a teacher should create his own evaluation technique which allows to assess the level of students’ study skills, to define their
physical and functional competence and raise motivation for moving activities.
