Abstract. The paper is devoted to the analyses of General and National history textbooks’ contents for high school. The results of the analysis are a rationale for implementing the additional methodological materials in order to expand the information about the history of the East into the main course of school History. This task is defined by the necessity to teach history in accordance with modern educational trends on the upgrading the subject knowledge on History via implementation of the concept of a regional component in education. In the article the author provides the ways of methodological preparation for the purpose of studying history through the prism of a multifactorial development of the human community.
