Abstract.

Introduction. In the last few years, the vocational guidance of adolescents has again become one of the most relevant issues in the psychological and pedagogical discourse. Its quality, however, continues to depend to a greater extent on the individual qualifications of the career consultant and does not guarantee its effective application. In this regard, the study aims to develop a new PROF.Navigator technology for vocational guidance, which offers a more objective, technological, and effective approach.

Materials and methods. The object of the study is career guidance as a technology for supporting professional self-determination of adolescents. The study examined the main types of technologies used, identified two leading Russian technologies for individual career guidance, and provided their comparative analysis. Based on the analysis, the proprietary PROF. Navigator career guidance technology was developed, and then tested for 8 years in the Irkutsk region.

Results. The paper proposes a PROF.Navigator technology for career guidance and shows its distinctive features and advantages, including a problematizing questionnaire about teenagers’ readiness to choose a profession, determination of their individual typological features by the method of socionic diagnostics, examination of teenagers’ competencies, and professional tests employed in a systematic approach.

Conclusion. The paper presents a new technology for career guidance, which increases the processability, objectivity and effectiveness of professional self-determination of adolescents. The technology has confirmed its practical significance over a long period of its application and can be recommended for widespread adoption in Russian schools.

The paper addresses the identification and description of the structure of professional orientation for future psychologists studying at correspondence and full-time departments for baccalaureate/master’s degree, as well as the determination of the value and motivation components in it. The research aims to examine the value and motivation components in the structure of the professional orientation of future psychologists for different courses, forms and levels of professional education.

Materials and methods. The research employs the method of “Motivation for learning at university” by T.I. Ilyin, the method of “Motivation of professional activity” by K. Zamfir, the method of diagnosing value orientations by S. Schwartz, the method of “Career Anchors” by E. Shein, and methods of mathematical-statistical processing and interpretation of data.

Research results. An empirical study of the professional orientation of future psychologists enrolled on different courses and choosing various forms of education has revealed the specific features of the value and motivation components in the structure of professional orientation, and indicated that the identified hierarchy of motives is a personality characteristic of a student majoring in Psychology.

Conclusion. This empirical research has made it possible to formulate a conclusion about the significance of the value and motivation components in the structure of the professional orientation of the personality of future psychologists, as well as the importance of the educational process organization, in which professional motives dominate in the student’s motivational structure. Prospects for further research are associated with an identification of the relationship between the value-motivation components of the professional orientation of future psychologists and their employment.

Abstract.

Abstract. The paper focuses on the issue of cadets’ awareness of personal qualities necessary for the professional activity of policeman. The conducted research has objectively correlated the qualities that the cadets have with those required. The study, which was carried out from December 2019 to February 2020, aimed to consider the organization of the educational process and determine the impact it has on the cadets’ awareness of their status

and the formation of professionally important qualities.

Materials and methods. The primary method employed in the research was an ascertaining experiment involving the cadets of departmental educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The experiment sought to determine the professionally significant qualities inherent in cadets. The sample consisted

of 390 students.

Research results. The findings have revealed that the majority of first-year cadets are aware of being simultaneously a student and an employee of the Department of Internal Affairs. However, the proportion of such respondents among the four-and five-year students is lower by a third. This is due to the existing system of education and upbringing in departmental educational organizations, which is unable to strengthen this inner awareness.

Conclusion. The results of the study have indicated high practical significance and the need to intensify work in this strand of the research. The practical results of the study are supposed to be used when creating programs for moral and psychological training of non-permanent personnel. Proper development of professionally significant qualities will decrease the level of staff turnover, increase the index of public confidence in the police, ensure satisfaction of

employees from their work, and others. There are plans to continue the study.

Abstract.

Introduction. The paper aims to find practical aspects of initial professional training in technical and tactical techniques of ground hand-to-hand combat in the context of law enforcement.

Materials and methods. The study involves reviewing numerous abstracts of papers focusing on self-defense and various types of martial arts. A comparative analysis of the rules of various sports that are of applied value for the training of law enforcement officers and that embrace groundwork is performed. The questionnaire and pedagogical testing are employed to identify the main tactics and techniques of the initial training in ground hand-to-hand combat, and their variety. The study has determined the specific features of the initial professional training in ground hand-to-hand combat.

Research result. The findings have indicated the current degree of the issue coverage and its relevance. The main (basic) technical and tactical methods for initial training of law enforcement officers have been identified using the Brazilian jiujitsu techniques as an example, and their variety has been briefly described. The specific features of initial training in ground fighting for law enforcement officers have been formulated given the features of their professional activities.

Conclusion. The relevance of studying and developing positional combat (part of practical hand-to-hand fighting) as one of the areas of professional training of law enforcement officers for the modern realities of one-on-one street fighting, i.e., ground hand-to hand combat, has been determined. The data obtained allows supplementing the theory and methodology of martial arts with new knowledge.

Abstract.

Introduction. The focus of modern society on building functional literacy skills in specialists, the development of cognitive abilities based on fundamental education, and others determined the objective of developing scientific knowledge about early career guidance for schoolchildren, including the cognitive support of this process on a digital educational platform. The study aims to justify the cognitive support technology for early career guidance for schoolchildren on a digital educational platform (on the example of the activities of ANO CPE “Open Youth University”) and formulate new objectives for the development of this technology in the present stage of education development.

Materials and Methods. The methodological framework of the study employs a network approach in education, which contributed to the justification of the educational ecosystem “Non-profit organization – digital educational platform – school;” the leading principles of the system-activity approach, which ensure the development and testing of the content of the technology for cognitive support of early career guidance of schoolchildren in the context of this ecosystem; personality-oriented approach, which allows personalizing the process of career guidance work; cognitive approach, which contributes to the substantiation of the content of the technology at issue and is aimed at orientating schoolchildren’s career guidance towards the generation of scientific ideas and the development of the cognitive sphere of adolescent personality. The study was carried out within the framework of the regional project “Territory of Intelligence” implemented in the Tomsk region.

Results. The paper has systematized scientific ideas about the system of career guidance; justifies the technology for cognitive support of early career guidance for schoolchildren on a digital educational platform and identifies the objectives for the development of this technology. The scientific novelty of the study is related to the fact that this is the first time the technology of cognitive support for early career guidance of schoolchildren on a digital educational platform has been substantiated. The theoretical significance of this work is due to the systematization of scientific ideas about the process of early career guidance of schoolchildren by means of educational platforms.

Conclusion. The content of the digital educational platform developed in the study, cognitive technology for supporting the process of career guidance for schoolchildren, and the method of building the ecosystem “non-profit organization-digital educational platform-school” are of practical value for school principals and teachers.
